The CleanBC program offers two pathways to heat pump rebates. The Energy Savings Program (income-qualified) provides significantly larger rebates based on your household income and size. The Home Renovation Rebate Program (standard) is open to all homeowners regardless of income.
The Energy Savings Program offers the largest rebates — up to $19,000 for a heat pump — based on your household income and number of people in your home. You must pre-register and receive an Eligibility Code before any work begins.

The Home Renovation Rebate (HRR) Program is open to all BC homeowners regardless of income. Administered by BC Hydro and FortisBC in partnership with the Province. Note: HRR rebates cannot be combined with Energy Savings Program rebates for the same upgrade — you choose one stream or the other.
